Structured data is a way of organizing information for better accessibility to the search engines. It gives Googlebots an info of what a page is about and Google uses the structured data to enable special search results enhancements.
Adding Structured Data to your webpage  can boost it's performance in Google Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs) and also increase your CTR. 
You can have Structured data in JSON-LD format and use Schema.org vocabularies to define each term.
 Schema markup are codes (semantic vocabularies) that allows you to magnify your description in SERP.

Now let's head back to the main purpose of this article.

Adding Schema markup to your Blogger post

    This is one of the easiest thing to do, but, before you start with Structured data, just make sure to finish up with whatever content you are writing. 
  So, if you want to schema markup to your Blogger posts, this are the few steps you need to take:

  • Fill in the required fields; which will show in the SERP

  • When done with that, click on Validate and you will be redirected to Google Structured Data testing tool. In Google Structured Data testing tool, click on the 'play icon' to validate the Data. 

  • Make sure there are no errors or warnings, if there is none, head back to the Schema Markup Generator and click on 'copy' to  copy the code.

  • Go to your Blogger dashboard and open the post or page which you want to put the Structured Data. In the post editor, switch to HTML view and paste the code at the end of the article, make sure there is no more script or anything below it. When done with that, publish your post. 

Well done, you have successfully added Schema Markup to your Blogger post.
But you still need to make sure the data will be available in SERP; go to Google Structured Data testing tool, input your webpage URL and run a test to confirm that are no errors.

 You will then see the markup you have added. Now, you can manually request indexing in Google Search Console and wait for the page to be crawled. 
This method can be used to add any Schema markup to your Blogger site.
